I downloaded this free desktop from The Shabby Shoppe blog and just dropped the pictures in. Super easy scrapbooking! Personally, I prefer layouts more symetrical than this. I'm contemplating buying the kit that comes with all these delicious supplies, called Sprout, but do I really need it? :)
The pics are of me, my amazing sister-in-law and friend, and a Godly, someone-who-I-look-up-to church lady, who were both at last weekend's ladies retreat I attended. It was an amazing time of renewal and encouragement. BEAUTIFUL YOU is what it was called.
Next post will be of an annual scrapbooking project I'm working on.

Poor Naked Sheep
I picked up my three year old from Sunday School a few Sundays ago, and like always I admire the craft he made. He was all proud of this one, laughingly commenting that "the sheep couldn't see". Oh, I laughed! Poor naked sheep! He figured he was really smart and funny!

Fried Grasshopper is Good
Random Pieces about me. I just started listing little details about myself, a writing technique that is commonly is referred to as free writing. Looking back at pages like this, these type of layouts are my favorite. They are so meaningful. Yes, pretty pictures are good, but something about the journaling. It captures something from the past that will be no more. I used Prima patterned paper and brads, American Crafts Felt Letters, Fancy Pants felt, Smooch by Clearsnap, Chipboard shapes by Basic Grey, and a few other things.
